I am mostly going to try and use this space to write and talk about TTRPGS (Table Top Role Playing Games). I played in 1999-2001 off and on. AD&D 2nd edition. I then moved into 3.5 for a short while. In 2021 my then 13 year old son stated he wanted to play. We bought the D&D Essentials kit. And off we went. Today Each of my 3 boys have their own monthly groups. Including the Dungeon of the Mad Mage, Divine Contention and Wild Beyond The Witchlight for the youngest group. I have also recently signed up as a paid Dungeon Master/Game Master/Keeper on Start Playing: I've been having a BLAST!

But I've also learned a lot. And I hope to use this space to share what I've learned promote my games and have a space to exercise writing regularly. All good skills to have. So here's the first thing I want to share that I've learned: Player first GM's (Game Master) is a misnomer. Anyone, and I mean anyone can be a GM or a DM (Dungeon Master) or a keeper. I have kids that started at 12 and 13 as DM's. They do great. If you're worried I will link below to Running the Game with Matt Colville. This video series offers excellent short digestible videos on how to be a DM. If you want to be a DM start here. You likely you won't be sorry.

I'm also going to try to do articles on a variety of other topics and games including Call of Cthulu and Monster of the Week. But I really want to point you in the direction of resources you can use.
